Chicago Cubs are a professional Baseball team located in Chicago. Unlink the other teams; the Chicago Cubs (with the exception of the Giants) have won more games than any other team in baseball history. Their winning percentage exceeded in the national league by just the Giants, Dodgers, and also Cardinals. However, fans of the Chicago Cubs are still not satisfied with that because they have been waiting for fifty five years for a World Series appearance and more than 90 years for a World Series title.
The team had several names such as white stockings, Colts, and the Orphans. However in 1903, the team has settled into "Cubs" as the official name of the team. In 1876, they won the very first NL pennant and in the 1880s, under Adrian "Cap" Anson, they won five national league titles. In the 20th century, the Cubs were one of the greatest teams in baseball. In 1906, they won a record of 116 games, 107 games in 1907, 99 games in 1908, and also 104 games in 1909 and 1910. In 1907 and 1908, the Cubs earned the World Titles by winning NL pennants.

In the 1920s, the team had experienced six different managers for the Cubs; each one had his own strategy and a different plan for the team. But in 1929, because of Rogers Hornsby, a right handed hitter, the Cubs won the flag with 98 wins. However, the Cubs lost the World Series almost every time. Some of the greatest players that formed the core of those pennants winning Cubs ball are
Hack Wilson, Kiki Cuyler, Charlie Grimm, Billy Herman, Gabby Hartnett, Phil Cavarretta, Riggs Stephenson, Bill Lee, and Lon Warneke.
