Minnesota Twins are a professional Baseball team located in Minnesota. Being a hard-working and hard playing team, Twins are widely known among their fans as the "Twinkies." In 1981 Metropolitan Stadium was the stadium where Twins play their games. The 1982 season was held in Metrodome, an indoor stadium, which is located in downtown Minneapolis near the Mississippi River. The arrival of 1980s superstars Kent Hrbek and Kirby Puckett had boosted the team's performance and led them to win two World Series after several losing seasons. Minnesota Twins win the 1987 World Series and 1991 World Series when they defeated the St. Louis Cardinals , and the Atlanta Braves. In both of these World Series, the Twins team proved that they were able to make history.
Twins Uniform colors are Navy blue, Red, and White. They have two uniform designs; A light colored uniform which consist of white and gray colors, and an alternative uniform which consist of solid blue with red and white colors. Twins team play in Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, a domed stadium in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, that replaced Metropolitan Stadium.
