Texas Rangers is one of the West Division teams in American League. They’ve been in Arlington Texas since 1972. They wear red and white colors uniform.
We can say Texas Rangers in one of the strangest teams in major league. Originally they were Washington Senators. While the team was in Washington first four seasons they lost at least 100 games. Teams owners decided to move and become Minnesota Twins. After a while team wasn’t doing too good so they moved again in 1972 to Arlington Texas, and decided to change name to Texas Rangers.
Since 1972 Texas Rangers won four American League division titles. Even though they won 4 titles, they still haven’t won American League pennants or World Series.

Texas Rangers were always strong team in it Division but they could never make it all they way. The seemed to always have great first part on the season, when it comes down to finishing their job and going to playoffs Texas Rangers always mess that up.
Texas Rangers had Ivan Rodriguez as a catcher, he is amazing player and he tried to help them but he just couldn’t make it him self. The have made a lot of changes to be better and stronger, it just feels that they can’t get together and play as a team. Now team has less good players and they are trying hard. Now in off season it seems like Texas Rangers trying to do few trades here and there. Hopefully in 2005 Texas Rangers can do a better job and win something.
