Major League Baseball All-Star Game is a yearly baseball exhibition game between the best players from the National League and the American League. The All-Star Game usually occurs in middle of July and highlights the Major League Baseball (MLB) season.
In 1933, the first Major League Baseball All-Star Game was held at Comiskey Park in Chicago. It was started when a sports editor for the Chicago Tribune, Arch Ward, insisted to agree with the celebration of Chicago's Century of Progress Exposition. check out cheap MLB All star Tickets
For 1933 and 1934 games, the All-Star teams were selected by the managers and the fans. From 1935 through 1946, managers selected the entire team for each league. However, from 1947 - 1957, fans selected the team's starters and the manager chose the pitchers and the remaining players. Managers, players, and coaches made the All-Star Team selections from 1958 through 1969. In 1970, it was up to the fans for the selection of the starters for each team and remains till now.
